Garfield is a 2004 American live action / computer animated comedy directed by Peter Hewitt and inspired from Jim Davis's comic strip. Garfield: Tail of Two Kittens

Why it's great[]

  • Even though it's not comic accurate, Garfield and Odie's origin of their relationship is probably the best part of the film as their friendship has more depth and meaning than it did in the comics and the cartoons.
  • Great cast performances. In fact Bill Murray was perfect to voice Garfield while Jennifer Love Hewitt does a great job playing Liz.
  • The humor is clever and funny.
  • The CGI of Garfield is good and he genuinely looks like a live action version of a comics character.
  • Happy Chapman is an hilarious villain.
  • Great soundtrack, with songs such as Holla by Baha Man and I Feel Good by James Brown.
  • Garfield has a good character development learning to not be selfish and deciding to risk his own life to save Odie.
  • "I think i have a mental advance on this fella".
  • Wake Up Hot Water & Disgusting Food Of Jon

Bad Qualities[]

  • Garfield is the only animal in the movie to have a cartoony physical appearance while the others are all realistical animals.
  • Nermal is different from how he's in the comics as he portrayed as an adult cat that is Garfield's friend.
  • Arlene is not Garfield's girlfriend in this movie.
