Once Upon a Forest is a 1993 British-American animated children's film based on the Furlings characters created by Rae Lambert. It was directed by Charles Grosvenor and produced by David Kirshner, produced by Hanna Barbera in association with HTV Cymru/Wales, and distributed by 20th Century Fox. It was released on June 18, 1993 in the United States and October 22, 1993 in the United Kingdom.

- The animation is very smooth and great to look at.
- Good voice acting.
- The film doesn't portray humans as antagonistic, unlike other films with a forest setting.
- Great music score by James Horner.
- The main characters in the movie are likeable and have good chemistry.
- Nice songs, such as "Once Upon A Time With Me" (which appears in the credits) and "Please Wake Up".
- The ending was emotional, but leaves the viewer with an optimistic sense of hope.
