Plot

Why It's Great

  1. Good animation for 2006.
  2. It started the legacy of Sony Pictures Animation, who would later go on to create other great films like Surfs Up, Cloudy with a chance of meatballs, Hotel Transylvania, and Spider Man: Into the spider verse
  3. The titular protagonists Boog & Elliot are likable, funny & interesting.
  4. Boog and Beth's relationship with each other is very emotional.
  5. Shaw is a very enjoyable and intimidating antagonist.
  6. The film features several funny moments such as the scene where Boog and Elliot burst into Puni-Mart and throw a wild party and Elliot's lullaby to Boog.
  7. Boog & Elliot's growing friendship throughout the film is charming, pretty funny, interesting & emotional to see. (Even if it's pretty silly & kinda predictable, but in a good way)
