Open Season 3 is a 2011 American direct to video computer animated comedy film. It's the third installment of the Open Season franchise and the sequel to Open Season 2.
Plot[]
After all his friends dumped him for their families instead of going with him to the men trip, Boog decides to travel alone. When he finds a circus he changes place with a sosia named Dug and falls in love with Ursa, a female bear of the circus. With the help of a llama named Alistair, he will try to conquer her. Meanwhile Dug enslave the animals of the forest.
Why it's great[]
- The animation is pretty good.
- The humor is funny and clever
- The characters are well written
- The voice cast is decent
- Doug and Alistair are hilarious characters
- The friendship of Boog and Elliot is again explored in this film after being a little left apart in the second film due to its focusing on Elliot and Giselle's relationship.
- The subplot about Mr. Weenie and the pets trying to save Boog is funny
- The inclusion of On the Road again and Real Wild Child is a nice touch.
- The ending montage of Alistair and Doug narrating their travel at Russia is pretty funny.
Bad qualities[]
- The writer's broke Boog's character of driving a shopping cart into the Mini Mart when that's what Elliot did in the first movie.
